invitations: maestros and padawans
your maestro is the person who invited you to naiss. your padawans are the people who joined with your invitation.
- how do i invite someone? open “your padawans” and share your link. the other person needs to use your invitation when signing up. each account can have one maestro; another invitation does not replace them.
- what do i earn as a maestro? naiss adds sparkies based on what your padawan earns from qualifying rides. your padawan keeps all of theirs. the rate and reward period appear in “your padawans”: the period starts when they complete signup, not when they verify their identity. you can invite drivers or passengers; you do not need to drive yourself.
- what does my padawan receive when joining? if the welcome offer is active and their signup meets its conditions, they receive the sparkie gift shown in the invitation after verifying their identity and meeting the adult requirement. no ride is required. it is awarded once per person and does not generate an extra reward for the maestro.
- what requirements do we need to meet? for the extra ride rewards, both maestro and padawan must be adults and verify their identity with their document and face. for the welcome gift, the padawan needs to meet those requirements. self-invitations do not count.
- why are some sparkies pending? a confirmation, review or requirement may still be outstanding. if you need to verify your identity, the app tells you. pending amounts are not included in “earned” and may change. verifying later does not extend the invitation reward period.
- where do i see my earnings and when do i get paid? “your padawans” shows your total and what each person has earned you. tap their row to open the history or the message button to talk to them. euro conversion and payments are shown in “sparkies”. an earned amount is not necessarily available to withdraw yet.
