what naiss is

the social layer of mobility.

we spend 10% of the day getting from one place to another. to work, to class, home. nearly always alone, on autopilot.

naiss is riding with people, but done right. you put music on, you play, you wind each other up, you laugh. that dead time turns into the best part of the day.

go where you're already going. just don't go alone.

  • friends first, and people you've already travelled with. then whoever's heading your way. you choose.
  • costs work themselves out. today you drive, tomorrow they drive you. it evens out, and whatever's left over gets settled when it suits, without chasing anyone.
  • and on top of that you get paid for the energy you save. driver and passenger, both of you.

just you, your people, and the bit of the day that used to be a drag.

common questions

how do i find people to ride with?

you say what trip you're making, or your usual routine, and naiss shows you who's going the same way at the same time. nothing to search for, it just shows up.

do i have to ride with strangers?

no. you always choose who you join and who you invite. if for now you only want to ride with your friends, that's fine.

what if i always end up driving?

it works out, because the tally keeps itself. today you drive, tomorrow they drive you, and anything still uneven gets settled whenever you want.
