what each status means and what to do next.

document and face, checks, then the result. these are the same tags you will see in your account and the bonus. they tell you whether to continue, wait or try again.

not verified: you have not verified your identity yet. open verification and have your document ready.
in progress: you have steps left in didit. tap continue to resume the same session, even if you closed the window.
checking: we are preparing or checking the result. you can leave the screen; the button stays disabled while we wait.
in review: your details need an additional review. you do not need to repeat the process or open a chat. we will let you know when there is a next step.
repeat a step: a step is missing or we could not read your document clearly. follow the screen’s button: continue resumes didit; try again opens a new check.
verified: naiss has confirmed your identity and you have the blue check. energy bonus savings consent is accepted separately.
try again: verification was not approved, or the session expired or was left unfinished. start a new attempt with a valid document.
renew: your document or verification has expired. verify your identity again with a valid document to regain the check.
needs help: there is something new photos cannot resolve, such as a document linked to another account. use contact naiss so we can look at it together.
unavailable: we cannot open verification right now. come back later. this does not mean your identity was rejected.
wait to try again: you have reached the attempt limit. your verification shows when you can try again. if you have already started a session, you can finish it.

when retaking a photo, use the original document, good lighting and avoid glare. if didit asks you to repeat a step, resume that session. if you have reached the attempt limit, wait before starting another. updates appear in naiss and arrive by notification if you have them enabled.

didit says approved, but my blue check is missing

the result in naiss is what counts. if didit approval does not include valid, complete details, you will see “repeat a step” to check the document again. “in review” means wait; “needs help” indicates a problem requiring our intervention.

i am correcting my details, what happens to my check?

you keep the check while your previous identity remains valid. closing didit does not cancel evidence already submitted: if steps remain, resume the same session; if it is in review, wait for the result. your details only change when the new verification is approved. if it asks you to contact naiss, follow that step even if you still see the check.
