location during a journey
how to allow it and what naiss does while recording your journey.
naiss needs your location to start and record a journey. when your phone asks, choose "while using the app".
- you do not need to choose "allow always". allowing location while using naiss is enough to record a journey you have already started.
- location is only used while a journey is active. we do not start new tracking from a closed app.
- once the journey has started, tracking continues with your screen locked so we can record the route and its distance correctly.
- when you end the journey, naiss stops recording your location. you can also change the permission in your phone settings.
