sparkies when you forgive a tab
if you forgive what a passenger owed you, their sparkie for that ride comes to you.
- forgiving clears the debt: that person's tab goes to zero.
- sparkies for a ride are split 50/50 between driver and passenger. if you forgive the tab, that person isn't paying their share, so their half of the sparkies moves to you instead, as compensation.
- if that person hasn't verified their identity yet, their sparkie stays on hold until they do. it isn't lost, just waiting.
- this can only happen while the ride is still open. once the official paperwork closes, the sparkie stays where it was.

will the other person know their sparkie moved to me?
yes. in their sparkie history they'll see that ride marked as forgiven and that their sparkies went to you.
why did my sparkies go to the driver?
